Certified Tableau Specialist

I have reluctantly achieved 2 certifications in Tableau (the Data Viz tool I have the most recent experience with). I say reluctantly because I’m not a big fan of studying or exams (I can’t imagine anyone is) and I much prefer learning by doing. In fact, these must have been my first exams of any kind since my degree. Thankfully, I’ve had enough hands-on experience with Tableau that I could complete these with minimal studying time.

I also feel like the quality of my work speaks louder than qualifications on paper, however when all my work is based on client data that I can’t share, it’s hard to show anything publicly. I’ve started to create synthetic data with the intention of creating some more shareable content on Data Viz so watch this space. But till then, at least these certifications might give some confidence I know what I’m talking about…
